To this day he is honored and highly respected (Prov 15:33).Ī humble person sees God as his all in all. Lee was a humble God-fearing man, who was deeply respected by his friends as well as his enemies. Have you ever wished to honor a proud, arrogant individual? We are repulsed by the thought. To honor someone is to admire and respect them. Honor is another blessing associated with humility. How desperately we need this (Daniel 4:34-37).ģ. We are to be lifted up above the fallen ways of man and protected by the power of God. To be exalted is to be lifted up but not for the sake of glory. That would contradict what Scripture deems important. Exaltation is the next gift granted to the humble.Įxaltation is not to be confused with being rich and famous. We will probably add this song to our set list in two weeks. I'm hoping the Hammond will cover the power chords. But I'm having trouble with making the song sound right once I drop out of the power chords and start playing the motif part. I can do either electric part (power chords or lead).
